Part-Time WORSHIP MUSIC LEADER
Reports To: Senior Pastor
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of the Senior Pastor, Worship Music Leader is responsible for providing leadership and music for our multigenerational worship service, Sunday mornings at 10:45am. The Worship Music Leader’s role supports and blends the talents of volunteer musicians within a mixed contemporary and traditional worship setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide musical leadership to RCBC Praise Team.
Ability to play a musical instrument, sing and lead worship simultaneously.
Select, rehearse, and teach as needed, the worship songs planned for each Sunday.
Schedule and lead Worship Team rehearsals.
Coordinate with A/V Technician on PowerPoint Slides and Sound Settings
Communicate weekly with the Senior Pastor to plan music that aligns with each week’s message.
OTHER DUTIES:
Manage CCLI and any music/audio licensing.
Assist with occasional unique worship events and services (Easter, Christmas Eve, etc)
Occasionally assists other worship staff in Sunday scheduling and logistics
Participate in related church and staff meetings as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:
On-site hours are primarily Sunday 9:30am to 12:00pm / Wednesday 6:30pm to 7:30pm
The actual number of hours required during any given week are those needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation for the position is a small weekly stipend
As a part time position, this role is exempt from any benefits packages.

WORSHIP TEAM MEMBERS (Singers, Musicians, Sound, Lights)
Reports To: Worship Music Leader
- Participants must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is consistent and growing through prayer, Bible reading and church fellowship.
- Participants must be committed attendees and givers at our church, including regular attendance at Sunday Services.
- Participants must demonstrate technical competence as either a singer, musician or audio/media technician.
- Singers and musicians must be comfortable on stage and expressive in their praise and worship before God.
- Participants must maintain a faithful attendance record.
- Singers and musicians must be committed to practicing an hour or more per week on their Sunday songs at home.
COMPENSATION:
Position is on a volunteer basis. No financial compensation.
As a volunteer position, this role is exempt from any benefits packages.
